EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Review plans for plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and energy regulation compliance with applicable codes and city ordinances.Conduct inspections on all permitted construction work involving plumbing in new and existing structures to ensure that installations are made consistent with the State Plumbing Codes.Conduct inspections on all permitted construction work involving heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in new and existing structures to ensure that installations are made consistent with the State Mechanical Codes.Communicate directly with contractors to make sure any code deficiencies are corrected. Advise contractors of possible methods of corrections.
