The City of Laramie is accepting applications for a part-time Landfill Laborer. This position performs litter collection both on-site and off-site at the landfill.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collect wind-blown litter
• Use hand tools as required
• Observe safety in all phases of operation
• Maintain simple records and logs
• Repair, construct and maintain litter collection fences and screen panels

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Any combination equivalent to experience and training that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities would be qualifying):

• Experience performing manual labor for extended periods of time in all weather conditions
• Special Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, kneel, crouch, squat, stoop, reach, crawl, twist, climb, and lift 75 pounds; exposure to cold, heat, noise, outdoors, vibration, confining work space, mechanical hazards.
