Job Description
The Ballpark at League City is a premier recreational facility offering a diverse range of activities for youth and adults. Our facility boasts bat and ball turf fields, indoor arenas for soccer and flag football, sand volleyball courts, and a vibrant atmosphere with two restaurants serving a full menu and alcohol beverages. In addition to sport events, the facility also hosts special events, private gatherings, and provide a hub for community engagement and active lifestyles.As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you play a pivotal role in overseeing the food and beverage operations by supporting and training the Food and Beverage staff, providing customer service, and ensuring safety and compliance.
Example of Duties
- Lead and motivate a team of restaurant staff members, including cashier, cooks, and bartenders to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service.
- Schedule and assign daily work assignments to the food service team and supervises the completion of tasks.
- Train and guide staff on job duties, proper food safety and sanitation procedures, customer service, etc.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring prompt and attentive service, resolving any issues or concerns, and consistently delivering a positive dining experience.
- Complete duties involve opening and closing restaurant in accordance with policy and procedures.
- Receive shipments of food, beverage products and other restaurant supplies; manages back stock; ensures the accuracy of invoices; examines shipments for damaged and / or expired items.
- Follows safe-handling standards for stocking, rotating and storing products for consumption, which includes pulling expired products from inventory. Follow all safety and health policies and procedures such as the use of protective equipment, proper refrigeration, food-handling, and so on.
- Maintain daily inventories.
- Operate work-related machines, tools, and equipment such as the cash register, credit card machine, and kitchen equipment.
- Cook and otherwise prepare food and beverages.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area by performing cleaning tasks in accordance with policy and procedures.
- Ensure correct cash handling procedures are occurring at all times.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation guidelines, and alcohol service laws, maintaining a clean and safe environment for patrons and staff members.
- Performs related work as required.
