Finance Manager
The Finance Manager supports the Finance Director and Assistant Finance Director in ensuring compliance with applicable standards and laws of municipal finance while contributing to the City's financial success. In this pivotal role, you will assist the department in strategizing delivery methods and assessing financial and performance outcomes. Your expertise will help drive operational efficiency and effectiveness, supporting the City's mission to serve the Leawood community to the best of our abilities.

Your work responsibilities may include :
Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. At least six years of progressive accounting experience, including two years in a supervisory role, preferably in municipal finance. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications : CPA, CGFM, CPFO or advanced degree (MBA / MPA) and experience with financial reporting in a government setting.
