Job Summary
Responsible for scheduling managing and training the summer pool staff personnel in collaboration with the Pool Director. Additional responsibilities include maintenance of the bathhouse pool deck grounds and locker rooms. Primary responsibility for ensuring the safety of patrons; including accident prevention in the lobby area locker rooms and surrounding areas. Assists lifeguards with the rescue and care of any aquatic rescues and assumes first responder role in any accident or incidence occurring on the pool deck in the bathhouse or on the grounds of the facility.

- Comply with and enforce all policies, procedures, and regulations set by management.
- Provide exceptional customer service - professional, courteous, tactful, and alert.
- Prevent accidents and minimize or eliminate hazardous conditions.
- Educate patrons regarding the purpose of the pool rules and regulations.
- Respond quickly to all emergency situations in the water or in surrounding areas.
- Administer any first aid and/or assist lifeguards in any aid needed by a victim of an accident.
- Attend all staff meetings and trainings.
- Complete all daily records and reports as required.
- Perform daily maintenance, open and close the pool facilities, and complete other support duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 14 years of age.
- Adult and Child CPR certification and Standard First Aid or equivalent certification required.
- Knowledge of the philosophy and objectives of the pool programs and ability to enforce all policies; procedures and regulations set by Pool Operation management and the facility.
- Demonstrated competency working with children and adults.
- Ability to manage large or small groups of program participants.
- Ability to recognize areas needing improvement and to take initiative to implement corrective measures and meet the highest expectations in safety and cleanliness of the facility.
- Professional presentation and positive role model in the execution of all duties; at all times.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
