What are the responsibilities and job description for the SOD - Police School Patrol Part-Time position at City of Lebanon, TN?

This position is scheduled for approximately an hour and fifteen minutes each morning and each afternoon Mon-Fri on school days. The City will guarantee a minimum of 2 hours pay for each shift for a total of 4 hours each day.
Guards street crossings during hours when children are going to or coming from school by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Directs actions of children and traffic at street and street intersections to ensure safe crossing.
Records license numbers of vehicles disregarding traffic signals and reports infractions to police.
Escorts children across street.
Places caution signs at designated points before going on duty and removes signs at end of shift. Makes sure that school warning signals are functioning properly.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Must be at least 18 years of age.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Successful completion of a physical examination by a licensed physician. Have good moral character.
Must possess a valid Tennessee Driver’s License.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively.
