Bachelor’s degree Community Planning, Public Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
Minimum two years’ experience in grants administration, finance, or community planning*.
Must complete HUD Environmental Review training within 12 months of hire. 
A valid state Motor Vehicle Operator’s license is also required.
 *Equivalent combination of education and experience may be consideredKey Job Duties:
  1. Manages all activities and administration requirements pertaining to the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) such as operation of the City’s Minor Home Repair program. 
  2. Responsible for all Housing and Urban Development Department (HUD) required data reporting for grant compliance.
  3. Prepares and maintains a written record of all environmental reviews. Activities include site observation, assessment and appropriate public notifications.
  4. Assists with necessary administration activities and reporting related to federal funding such as the Five-year Consolidated Plan, Annual Action Plan, Citizen Participation Plan, and assists with the Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Plan.
  5. Researches local, state, and federal grant opportunities for the Development Services Department and assists in drafting, monitoring, and securing of all grants. 
  6. Coordinates with various City departments to assure compliance with local and federal financial regulations, as well as procurement policies, labor standards, and other relevant policies.
