The Stormwater Service Worker I performs unskilled and semiskilled work in the construction, maintenance, placement and repair of public infrastructures and facilities such as streets, sidewalks, drainage, signage, bridges, and related structures for the Stormwater Department.

Minimum Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or GED;
- Valid NC driver’s license and good driving record. Must obtain Class B CDL permit within six (6) months of hire and Class B CDL license within one (1) year of hire;
- Ability to assist with ice and snow removal and rotate on-call responsibilities within department.
- Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods often under unfavorable weather conditions.
Work Schedule
Monday-Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm.
Rotating shift (Week 1:Monday-Thursday, Week 2: Tuesday-Friday).
Paid bi-weekly.
