Recreational Game Worker
FLSA: Part-Time Non-Exempt; work >1000 hrs per year
Game Workers performs variety of work which includes: Gate Attendant, Concessions, and Score Keeper. A Game Worker requires to be knowledgeable within Liberal surroundings (hotels, restaurants, gas-stations, and ect). Guests will look toward a game worker for any recommendations, questions, and concerns. This position is Part-Time/Seasonal position. Type of work assigned may be on your own plus repetitive in nature and after once learned can be carried on without difficulty and only under general supervision.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Welcome guests when arrive to event
- Provide any assistance and information to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in your vicinity
- Report any incidents, disturbances, or policy violations to supervisors or director
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service
- Ability to learn all functions (gate, scorekeeper, and concessions)
- Ability to work in different weather conditions
- Ability to count money
- Ability to understand the sport assigned
- Understanding of food safety (concessions)
- Understanding work schedule can change throughout the day depending on the event
Additional Requirements:
- Some positions will require the performance of other essential and marginal functions depending upon work location, assignment or shift.
- Employee must be 16 or older
ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
There is no experience or training requirement for this entry-level position.
