ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR
The City of Lima, Ohio is currently accepting resumes for the position of Electrical Inspector in the Department of Public Works.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: In addition to the following, performs other related duties as required: Under direction, directs and performs electrical inspections; prepares and maintains records and reports; establishes and maintains external relationships; maintains personal and professional competence and awareness; supervises Assistant Electrical Inspectors.
Qualified candidates must possess the following:
QUALIFICATIONS: The minimum acceptable qualifications for this position are:
Two (2) year Associate’s Degree, plus four (4) years of journeyman level electrical construction experience, including two (2) years of supervisory experience. Must possess an Ohio Electrical Safety Inspector's Certificate and Electrical Journeyman's License. Certification as both a Building Inspector (Non-Residential) and Mechanical Inspector (Non-Residential) by the State of Ohio preferred.
Starting Pay: $35.48 hourly
$36.78 hourly with Building Inspector Certification
