The City of Lincoln Council have an exciting opportunity for two Skilled Labourers to join our team.
You will be part of the Housing Repairs team, who are responsible for repairing and maintaining 7,800 properties throughout Lincoln. We pride ourselves on providing quality housing and repairs for our tenants.
We are looking for friendly and approachable candidates who underpin our core values to provide excellent customer care to the residents of Lincoln.
We work on a grading approach depending on experience with opportunities for training and development.
The roles will be full time (37hrs per week Mon-Fri) and permanent. Standby and overtime opportunities are also available.
Candidates must have a full driving licence.

Key responsibilities
- Carry out tasks independently or in a support role of Housing Repairs Service (HRS) tradespersons.
- Carry out cleansing work on all void properties.
- Carry out street works and driving as required by Housing Repairs Service (HRS).
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of workmanship.
- Be physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks.
- Be prepared to work in a variety of environments, both indoors and outdoors, confined spaces and unsanitary conditions.
- Ability to undertake groundwork, including excavation for burst water pipes, vehicle crossings, and hard standing.
- Experience in driving and maintaining such vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Company vehicle and fuel card.
