Job Posting Information
Are you detail-oriented and interested in processing information and preparing court documents? We're looking for someone to join our team in a key role that involves complex, specialized clerical work. You'll provide counter assistance to the public and review both criminal and civil legal documents in the judicial database system while playing an important part in supporting the Clerk of the District Court.
Hours : 8 : 00 a.m. - 4 : 30 p.m., Monday through Friday (40 hours per week)

What You'll Do :
- Prepare and process court documents and maintain court records
- Enter court case information in the JUSTICE database system
- Provide counter and telephone assistance to the public, litigants, and attorneys
- Compose, compile, proofread, and distribute correspondence or requested documents to appropriate parties
- Assess and collect court fees, costs, payments, and issue receipts
- Recognize and follow federal and state laws, Supreme Court and local court rules and regulations including any changes, and apply them in carrying out the Clerk's responsibilities and duties
