As a Graphic Designer on the City Communications team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of our city and conveying important information to our residents. You will work closely with our communications team to create engaging and informative graphics for various platforms, including social media, websites, print materials, presentations, and more.What does a day in the life look like?
Creating print and digital materials such as brochures, posters, packaging, and other visual media for the City of Lincoln and its divisions.Managing multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to strict deadlines and ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality work.Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including public information officers, City staff, designers, copywriters, and developers, to execute projects effectively.Leading and guiding the development of brand design strategies, ensuring consistency across all visual elements and channels.Mentoring team members who assist with design, providing constructive feedback and fostering their growth and development.Encouraging a collaborative and creative work environment, motivating the team to achieve outstanding results.Benefits for YOU
