Technology Services is one of 11 divisions in the City of Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) Department. Hours : Full time, 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m.
Responsible technical work in the configuration and support of software applications. Successful applicants will also assist with troubleshooting issues for end users and working with vendors to fix issues.
Nature of Work / Examples of Work Performed
Set up access to supported application for new employees.
Provide training for staff on software after updates or changes.
Research and troubleshoot issues with software applications and work with vendors for resolution.
Assist in the evaluation and testing of new software applications.
Desirable Knowledge, Abilities & Skills / Desirable Training & Experience
Knowledge of software installation and maintenance.
Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot application issues with the Windows operating system.
Knowledge of financial or ERP systems.
Minimum Qualifications / Necessary Special Requirements
Associate's degree in computer science or related field and six months experience in the use of computer equipment; or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the desirable knowledge, abilities and skills.
