What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drug Testing Coordinator (Community Corrections Coordinator) position at City of Lincoln/Lancaster County?
This administrative position is responsible for the day-to-day functions of the Lancaster County Community Corrections Drug Testing program. This position will require administrative oversight of the drug testing program, supervision of personnel, and managing operations of the program. The drug testing program employs fulltime and on-call drug technicians and is open weekdays and weekends from 5:15 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. This position will have a rotating schedule which will require working weekdays, weekends, non-traditional hours and holidays.
This is human service work in a community correction program consisting of supervisory and administrative work assisting the Director and Program Manager in managing the operations and personnel of the drug testing program for a community-based supervision and outpatient treatment agency.
Oversees the development, implementation and revision of program goals and objectives, coordinates and implements program services, and manages human resources for the program.
Qualifications: Graduation from a four -year accredited college or university with major coursework in criminal justice, psychology, sociology, social work, or related field plus experience in the mental health, substance abuse or correctional field including some supervisory experience or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the desirable knowledge, abilities, and skills. .
Necessary Special Requirement: Possession of a valid drivers license when operating a vehicle is required in the performance of assigned duties.
