The Project Delivery Division is one of 11 divisions in the City of Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) Department. The LTU team provides transit, transportation, and utilities services year-round to the citizens of Lincoln. Nearly 600 team members make up LTU. LTU is seeking to fill the role of Engineering Technician. This is advanced technical work in connection with the Project Delivery Division of the Transportation and Utilities Department. The duties of this position include design, review, construction, inspection, record keeping, and providing quality customer service to the customers of the Project Delivery Division,
Work responsibilities include:
- Drafting Public Utilities
- Designing Public Utilities
Minimum Qualifications
Associates degree in construction management or civil engineering field and three years of experience with drafting, surveying and/or related engineering work; or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the desirable knowledge, abilities and skills.
Special Necessary Requirements
Possession of a valid driver's license when operating a vehicle may be necessary to the satisfactory performance of assigned duties for some positions within this classification.
