Job Summary:
The City of Lindsay, CA is seeking a highly skilled administrator to oversee the direction and supervision of city government. This is a contract position with a salary range of $114,504.00 - $166,400.00 annually. As the Chief Administrative Officer, you will be responsible for managing and supervising all departments, agencies, and offices of the city to achieve goals within available resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all departments, agencies, and offices of the city.
• Provide leadership and direction in the development of short- and long-range plans.
• Gather, interpret, and prepare data for studies, reports, and recommendations.
• Coordinate department activities with other departments and agencies as needed.
• Provide professional advice to the City Council and department heads.
• Communicate official plans, policies, and procedures to staff and the general public.
• Ensure that assigned areas of responsibility are performed within budget.
• Determine work procedures and expedites workflow.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in public or business administration, finance, economics, or a related field.
• Considerable knowledge of modern policies and practices of public administration.
• Working knowledge of municipal finance, human resources, public works, public safety, animal control, and community development.
