Job Summary
Under general supervision, ensures the safety of patrons at the Lindsay Aquatic and Wellness Center. Prevents and responds to emergencies as needed. Applicants must enjoy working with people, be enthusiastic, reliable, and punctual.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency.
- Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
- Presents professional appearance and attitude and maintains a high standard of customer service.
- Performs various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.
Typical Qualifications
- Minimum age of 16
- CPR/AED certified
- California Food Handlers Safety Card
- Current certification as a lifeguard by a recognized source of training
Special Requirements
- CPR certification
- Lifeguard certification
