What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parks Construction Worker II position at City of Little Rock?
This position is not designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is not subject to random drug and alcohol screening.
JOB OBJECTIVE: Join our team and be at the heart of keeping our Parks and Recreation spaces thriving! You'll have the opportunity to build, repair, and maintain a variety of equipment, buildings, and structures, ensuring that every park and recreational area stays in top condition for the community to enjoy. For a complete list of essential job functions, please click here.These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of two (2) years of experience in building construction work of a semi-skilled nature, one (1) year of semi-skilled welding experience, and one (1) year of supervisory or lead worker experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT:
- Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver’s License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
