What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parks Maintenance Worker II at Rebsamen Golf position at City of Little Rock?
This position is not designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is not subject to random drug and alcohol screening.
JOB OBJECTIVE: To maintain the grounds, buildings and equipment at the City golf courses.
- Maintains the grounds, building and equipment at the City golf course.
- Operates various types of mowers to cut greens, tees and fairways.
- Checks fuel and oil levels daily before operating equipment.
- Picks up limbs and other trash from the golf course.
- Mixes appropriate non-restricted use chemicals, including fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides; operates tractor mounted equipment for applying solutions.
- Operates a City pool automobile in the performance of essential job functions.
These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through the completion of one (1) year of experience in general labor or a related area. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
