JOB OBJECTIVE: Join our dynamic team and play a key role in keeping the Department of Parks and Recreation running smoothly! As a Parks Maintenance Worker Sr., you'll have the opportunity to tackle a variety of hands-on tasks, from repairing and maintaining buildings to ensuring equipment is in top shape. These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through the completion of eighth (8th) grade, one (1) year of experience in building or grounds maintenance involving manual labor and one (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position and must possess a valid Arkansas Class B (Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License within ninety (90) days of employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
