What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solid Waste Collection Supervisor position at City of Little Rock?
These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of two (2) years of college coursework in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related area, four (4) years of experience in managing refuse collection and disposal programs, transportation operations, or other logistics operations or related areas; and two (2) years of experience supervising professional-level employees to include supervision of administrative and clerical employees. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver’s License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
- Must possess Arkansas Division of Environmental Quality (DEQ) 1A, 1B, and 1C licenses within three (3) years of employment and maintains licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
