Baseball Coach

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Baseball Coach to lead and develop our youth participants. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of baseball fundamentals and demonstrate effective coaching techniques. This role involves not only teaching the skills necessary for success on the field but also fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth among players.

Duties

• Develop and implement practice plans that focus on skill development, strategy, and teamwork.
• Conduct regular training sessions to enhance players' abilities in batting, pitching, fielding, and base running.
• Monitor player performance during practices and games, providing constructive feedback to promote improvement.
• Educate players on the rules of baseball and the importance of sportsmanship.
• Manage game day operations, including player lineups, substitutions, and strategy adjustments.
• Foster a positive team environment that encourages participation and personal growth.
• Collaborate with other coaching staff to ensure a cohesive approach to player development.
• Implement behavior management strategies to maintain discipline and focus during practices and games.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sports coaching, preferably in baseball or related sports.
• Strong knowledge of baseball techniques and strategies.
• Ability to educate players effectively while promoting a love for the game.
• Skills in behavior management to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Experience in physical education or related fields is a plus.
• A commitment to fostering teamwork and sportsmanship among players.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for practices and games.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 20 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• After school
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed
