Description
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
To organize and supervise and assist in leading a variety of small and large group activities each week for day camp participants (ages 6 through 12). Activities may include arts & crafts, nature related activities, ice breakers, songs, games, walks, swimming, field trips and time spent on the bus traveling to and from the field trip destinations.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum one year experience and/or educational classes in camp programs, youth programs, recreation, working with children or in a related field.
- Minimum age 18.
- Upon hire, must complete City of Madison Heights provided First Aid and CPR Certifications
Selection Process Guidelines:
May include but not limited to formal application, review of application, background check, driver's license check, conditional offer of employment, post offer physical and drug screen, psychological exam.
