General Description
The Clerk's Office is looking to hire over 30 individuals to administer absentee voting at various Madison Public Library locations and other locations citywide. This position will be responsible for providing clerical support and public contact work. Specifically, you will provide general information regarding election procedures and the data entry of voter information. This work is performed under the supervision of the City of Madison Deputy Clerk.
Absentee voting duration : March 18 through April 25. Weekday, evening, and weekend shifts are available for 4 to 20 hours per week.
Online training and hands-on training are required in early March but can be completed outside of normal business hours.

- Assist the public in providing pertinent information regarding elections. Answer basic questions regarding election procedures before Election Day.

- Process absentee ballot requests.

Minimum Qualifications
All applicants will be considered for these positions. Depending on the number of applicants, random selection may be used to determine who moves forward in the process.
