General Description
This is professional leadership and supervisory work in deploying and managing complex Audio Visual (AV) and Information Technology (IT) systems. The City of Madison IT Department will provide IT advice and support to assist Monona Terrace and this position. This role performs budgetary and purchasing responsibilities for the Monona Terrace AV department. This position requires considerable judgement and ability to make decisions independently. This position is also project manager for technology installations at Monona Terrace and provides general supervision for Monona Terrace Technical Services Specialists and part-time stagehands.

Examples of Duties and Responsibilities
Management Monona Terrace Technology Systems
- Manage day-to-day operations of with support from vendor consultants and / or the City of Madison IT Department :
Wired and wireless networks.
Oversee Monona Terrace Audio Visual Department
Financial Management
Perform other related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in the setup and / or installation, repair, and operation of audio / visual, electronic, computer, and related equipment which includes at least two (2) years of leadership experience.
An Associate's degree or higher in computer science or a related field may substitute for two (2) years of experience in the setup and / or installation, repair, and operation of audio / visual, electronic, computer, and related equipment.
