The Position

Responsibilities
- Basic janitorial duties.
- Performs minor repairs and building maintenance.
- Completes facility set-ups and tear downs for room arrangements and general up-keep of the facility under the direction of the Facility Maintenance Coordinator.
- Performs birthday party set-ups and clean-up. Maintains cleanliness of storage area to meet Health Department regulations.
- Attends training, staff meetings and other necessary meetings.
- Enforces safety rules and regulations.
- Responsible for security and emergency procedures including closing/opening the facility.
- Completes daily log sheets, reports, checklists, and work orders.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 15 years of age or older
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. individually and move equipment up to 175 lbs. with assistance
- Experience in performing custodial/cleaning and maintenance duties
- Customer service experience
