The Position
The Maple Grove Parks & Recreation Department is seeking a Gymnasium Attendant for the Maple Grove Community Center. As the Gymnasium Attendant, you will provide supervision of basketball activities in the gymnasium, maintain a safe and orderly environment, set up and take down equipment as needed, and implement community center policies. You will get to work in a fast-paced and diverse environment while making a positive impact on our community members. Come and join our growing and diverse community!
Hours: Monday-Sunday, 2:00 - 6:30 PM, but may vary.
- Supervises participants by monitoring and responding to behaviors and emergencies.
- Understand all community center gym schedules, policies, and procedures.
- Responsible for checking admissions wristbands to the gymnasium.
- Perform general cleaning and light maintenance in the gymnasium.

- Ability to express rules and policies assertively.
- Ability to communicate with the public in an orderly and professional manner.

- First-aid and CPR Certification
