Overview
We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of water/sewer systems, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with safety standards. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, physical stamina, and a commitment to quality workmanship. In this position you will work both independently and as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment primarily backhoe, skid steer and loaders for excavation and installation tasks.
- Climb to access various work sites and perform necessary installations or repairs.
- Utilize hand tools for digging, cutting, and assembling utility components.
- Troubleshoot issues within water/sewer systems and perform necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment effectively.
- Ability to climb and navigate various terrains safely.
- Skilled in using hand tools for construction and maintenance tasks.
- Preferred Class A CDL License or able to obtain within 6 months
- Ability to obtain necessary water/sewer licenses
