Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a full-time City Worker. As a City Worker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the well-being of our community.
Responsibilities:
- Perform hardscape maintenance tasks such as repairing sidewalks, curbs, and pavement
- Assist with snow plowing and ice removal during winter months
- Utilize hand tools and equipment to perform various groundskeeping tasks
- Maintain parks and other green spaces by mowing lawns and weed eating
- Assist with general landscaping duties
-Assist in the water/sewer department as needed, willingness to obtain licensure after start of employment will be expected.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscaping is preferred but not required
- Ability to operate hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Flexibility to work outdoors in various weather conditions
-Mandatory overtime may be expected during inclement weather.
-Must live in Clark County
-Pay is based upon experience
