The City of Maryland Heights is accepting applications for Front Desk Cashier Attendant at its Outdoor Aquatic Center, Aquaport, for the 2025 season. Front Desk Cashiers will work a varied schedule that will include evenings, weekends, and holidays. No experience needed - we will train you!
Individuals hired for this position must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
The starting pay for this position is $15.25 per hour.
**The Front Desk Cashier Attendant position is Seasonal**
(Trainings are typically offered beginning in April with normal hours commencing mid-May after school ends)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Provide a safe environment for patrons of the City's aquatic facilities by following standard admission practices, take in daily admissions fees and accurately record those fees in Square software. Applicants should have excellent computer, math and customer service skills. Front Desk Cashiers may be asked to assist aquatics staff with operational features of the Aquaport Aquatics facility. Additional duties may be assigned on an as needed basis.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift and carry or move up to 40 pounds

3. Must be able to work independently as well as with a team
4. Must be able to work harmoniously with co-workers and patrons
5. Must be available for pre-season site specific training to include: certifications, facility safety and emergency action plan orientation, scheduling, and site specific policies and procedures
