What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transmission & Distribution-HEO II position at City of McAllen, TX?
Under general supervision, the Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO) performs skilled labor involving in the operation and maintenance of complex heavy equipment, such as front-end loader, backhoe, roller, winch truck, bulldozer maintainer, scraper, grader, 35-ton dragline, etc. Employee works under direction from supervisor. On some jobs, routine reports are required. Decisions are made on a routine basis. The worker has little or no contact with the public and has no supervisory responsibilities. Employee must abide by all safety rules and regulations.
