What are the responsibilities and job description for the CLGC Pro Shop - Apprentice Golf Pro position at City of McAllen?
Under general supervision, the Apprentice Golf Professional provides customer assistance, cashiering and golf services, as well as office clerical and administrative work at the City's Golf Course and maintains and prepares recurring records. Employee assists with the coordination of work schedules and activities of one to three other employees, as directed by the Director of Golf. Most of the decisions are guided by existing policies and regulations, but occasionally, requires the use of personal judgment. Provides and requires complete knowledge of the game of golf, golf course operations, clerical and computer applications. Position requires daily interaction with the public and the use of tact and diplomacy. Employee is expected to be able to maintain his/her own work schedule efficiently and productively.
