What are the responsibilities and job description for the Convention Facilities-Marketing and Special Events Supervisor position at City of McAllen?
Under general management and procedural control, the Marketing & Special Events Supervisor is responsible for the planning, direction and coordination of sales and marketing related to touring entertainment and sports for the Convention Facilities Department. The incumbent will maintain and develop relationships within the entertainment industry to secure events that will provide a diverse mix of entertainment and sporting events for the venue. This position coordinates use and operation of facilities by client for special events, such as concerts, public performances and the performing arts to assure proper logistics regarding setup, event operation and tear down.
