Summary Of Position
Under general supervision, this position performs a wide range of duties related to developing and managing the Wellness and Mental Health Programs providing holistic health and wellness services and resources for all employees and their family members. Establishes and implements a comprehensive wellness program to include: 1) Physical Fitness & Nutrition, 2) Emotional Wellness & Mental Health, 3) Financial Wellness & Family Preparedness, 4) Connection & Belonging.
This position also provides professional level assistance to the Human Resources Department by researching, collecting, and analyzing data, developing narrative and statistical reports, as well as assisting with projects and special requests, and assisting internal and external customers with HR related matters.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Any work related experience resulting in acceptable proficiency levels in the below Minimum Qualifications may be an acceptable substitute.
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a health or science related discipline including: Public Health, Wellness, Social Work, Psychology, or related field supplemented by four (4) years of relevant experience leading a wellness/mental health program.
Preferred Qualifications
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Tasks involve the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (5-10 pounds). Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or work station. Some tasks require visual and sound perception and discrimination and oral communications ability.

- Partners closely with Employee Relations to ensure seamless integration of mental health support with overall employee relations efforts.
- Inventories current wellness offerings across all departments; and forecast/develop new programs, resources and needs accordingly.
- Develops and deliver educational and training programs to large groups re: emotional and physical health and wellness topics across all departments.
- Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to organize workshops and seminars.
- Coordinates development of wellness website to provide centralized electronic catalog of resources and programs.
- Acts as primary liaison with EAP and external resources.
- Implements strategies and programs to enhance emotional wellness and mental health awareness among employees.
- Develops and coordinates physical fitness programs and initiatives, including exercise classes, group activities, and challenges.
- Obtains and fosters relationships with external wellness partners.
- Plans and coordinates social and community-building activities to foster a sense of connection and belonging among employees.
- Coordinate events like Benefits and Wellness Fairs, team-building events, volunteer opportunities, and employee recognition programs.
- Maintains data and records regarding program and resource utilization and effectiveness.
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed.

- Specialized training and certification in various fitness and wellness programming.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
- Must have Class C Texas Driver’s License
