What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Groundskeeper position at City of McMinnville?
The City of McMinnville is looking for an energetic individual who is looking for a part-time position. The position is weekends, Saturday and Sunday at the Milner Recreation Facility. The position pays $12.00 / hour and has full access to the Milner Center amenities. The position is responsible for performing janitorial/custodial duties, installing and repairing equipment, preparing and maintaining sports fields, and a variety of tasks in the operation and maintenance of the department.
Minimum Requirements
- Possession of a valid operator's license
- Graduation from a standard high school or equivalent
- Lift and move 75 pounds safely and properly
- Physically able to work outside year round
- One year of sports field maintenance experience and lawn care experience
Job Functions
- Receives and completes various forms, work orders, reports, and other documents
- Performs janitorial and custodial maintenance of recreational facilities grounds and buildings (to include restroom and trash disposal)
- Prepares set up for a variety of events
- Performs tasks related to sports field maintenance
