The Golf Course Clubhouse Worker supports the operations of the Mendota Heights Par 3 golf course. Responsibilities include opening and closing the course, completing daily sales transactions and general maintenance of the clubhouse and patio areas.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Opens and closes golf course, as scheduled.
  • Processes daily sales transactions, collects greens fees, sells concessions, closes out / reconciles daily sales.
  • Collects money and processes credit card transactions.
  • Meets and greets customers in a positive and courteous manner, provides course information, makes tee time and equipment reservations in person and over the phone.
  • Performs daily light maintenance of the clubhouse and grounds.
  • Assists with the coordination of tournaments, leagues and other promotional golf activities.
  • Monitors course play and enforces course policies, rules and procedures.
  • Performs other related functions, as apparent or assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and interact with the public in a positive and professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions according to established procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a courteous and professional manner with staff and customers.
  • Ability to use Point of Sale system
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Knowledge of golf rules and etiquette.

    • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 16 years of age and older.
  • Valid Minnesota driver's license and good driving record.
  • Previous golf experience and knowledge of the game of golf is beneficial.
  • Strong customer service skills, required.
  • Reliable and regular attendance during scheduled work hours, required.

    • DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Ability to work a combination of days, evenings, weekends and holidays during summer golf season.
