Seasonal Public Works Maintenance Workers are responsible for the safe operation of maintenance equipment and perform assigned duties in the parks, streets or utilities division of the Public Works department.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, mowing public areas, assisting with the maintenance and preparation of athletic fields, performing cleaning and janitorial tasks at park facilities and public areas, assisting in the repair of city streets including asphalt prep work and patching, and assisting with the daily maintenance of sanitary and storm water utilities including sewer cleaning, hydrant painting and checking of lift stations.
