Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, CJIS, and fingerprint check, and have the ability to comply with state and federal requirements for criminal justice information security standards.
Work Environment:
Works primarily in a climate-controlled office environment with exposure to cleaning tools, chemicals, and equipment. Position requires light lifting exerting up to 20 lbs. occasionally, 10 lbs. frequently, or negligible amounts constantly. Physical demands require the ability to walk or stand to a significant degree and includes frequently twisting, pushing/pulling, balancing, reaching, stooping/bending, and climbing ladders. Work requires fine dexterity for performing maintenance and cleaning which requires routine use of motor senses.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains City facilities by performing tasks such as vacuuming, wet and dust mopping, sweeping floors, collecting and disposing trash, removing debris, internal and external window washing, polishing metal, replacing sanitary supplies, collecting recyclable materials, stripping and waxing tile floors, wiping down equipment, changing filters, and dusting furniture.
- Maintains restrooms and locker rooms by replenishing supplies, cleaning, and disinfecting toilets, urinals, walls, stalls, sinks, showers, mats, drains, mirrors, and counters.
- Prepares assigned equipment for safe and efficient operating condition by inspecting prior to and after use.
- Utilizes various cleaning, disinfecting, and waxing chemicals and compounds.
- Ensures a safe work zone by proper use of signage and cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Reports any damage or facility issues to supervisor.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
