The City of Minot is accepting applications for the position of Part Time Airport Custodial Technician. This is a part-time, non-civil service position. Starting salary for this position will be $13-$17 per hour. Scheduled work is shift work, approximately 20 hours per week. This position will remain open until filled. 

 Nature of Work

This is manual work in the care and cleaning of Airport facilities and grounds. The personnel in this position must be available to work a flexible schedule that covers 7 days a week, 24 hours a day to include holidays. Scheduled work is shift work, approximately 20 hours per week with occasional overtime requirements. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Airport Facility Foreman and Airport Operations and Maintenance Manager.  

 Education, Experience, Other Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Graduation from High School and experience in general maintenance or custodial work, or any equivalent combination of training and experience. 
• Possession of a valid North Dakota Driver License
• Must be able to pass a fingerprint-based background check and maintain federally mandated security clearance required to work at an airport.
• The preferred candidate would have experience working at an airport.

 Compensation and Benefits

• Starting hourly wage of $13-17

• This is a part time, FLSA nonexempt, non-civil service position with no benefits provided

• This position will work a flexible schedule of approximately 20 hours per week
