Job Summary

Schedule : Monday - Friday ( Between 7am and 6pm) ( Up to 30 hours per week)
GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB
Provide children with a safe and positive developmentally appropriate environment. Collaborate with Instructors to develop program activities and lesson plans to support the developmental and cognitive growth of children at the childcare center. Under the Instructor's direction and guidance, provide instructional reinforcement for children. Provide support and assistance to Instructors. Supervise children and facilitate in their learning experiences. Observe behavior and report findings to the appropriate instructional and / or administrative personnel. Assist with the maintenance, cleaning and upkeep of the childcare facility.

Emergency Management Responsibilities
Note : During emergency conditions, all City of Miramar employees are automatically considered emergency service workers. Have you successfully completed the Introductory Child Care Training (40 hours) as documented on the Department of Children and Families Child Care Training Transcript?
If you answered "no" to #10, please acknowledge you understand the "Introductory Child Care" Training (40 hours) must be initiated within 90 days of hire date and successfully completed within the first six (6) months of employment.
Have you successfully completed Early Literacy and Language Development (5 hours) by the Department of Children and Families Child Care Training?
