What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building Inspector II /III position at City of Missouri City?
These are full-time (Professionals) positions in the City’s Development Services Department, Permits and Inspections Division. Individuals in this position will ensure compliance with residential and commercial codes and city ordinances. Reporting relationship: Building Official.

- Building Inspector II: High School Diploma or General Education Certificate (GED), a minimum of four (4) years relevant professional experience. One International Code Certification or the ability to obtain one ICC Certification within three (3) years required.
- Building Inspector III: High School Diploma or General Education Certificate (GED); minimum of eight (8) years relevant professional experience. One International Code Certification or the ability to obtain one ICC Certification within one (1) year, State of Texas licensed plumbing inspector license or the ability to obtain within 24 months of employment required.
