What are the responsibilities and job description for the GOLF CART ATTENDANT - PART TIME position at City of Monroe (NC)?
Performs unskilled work in the cleaning and maintenance of golf carts and facilities; does related work as required. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Head Golf Professional.
This is medium work requiring the exertion of 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; work requires stooping, walking, and grasping; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; visual acuity is required for depth perception, color perception, peripheral vision, visual inspection involving small defects and/or small parts, operation of machines, and observing general surroundings and activities; the worker is subject to outside environmental conditions, extreme heat, and vibration.Washing, cleaning, and maintaining golf carts; assisting with operation of the driving range; performing general building and grounds maintenance work. Washes and maintains golf carts; removes and replaces windshields. Charges and prepares carts for use; fixes flat tires; checks oil. Picks up trash on golf course. Rotates carts after use. Carries fresh water onto course for golfers. Performs general custodial duties in cart barn. Secures gates. Performs related tasks as required.General knowledge of golf cart cleaning, maintenance, charging and operations; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, patrons and the general public; ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions; skill in the maintenance and operation of golf carts.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or attending high school.
