Basic Purpose of the Job: Under general direction, the Restaurant Server will take and deliver orders. As the face of our restaurant incumbent is responsible for our customers' positive experiences. Restaurant Server responsibilities also include ensuring tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages. Incumbent must be quick to serve and have a polite and friendly attitude.Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Requires ability to stand for long periods of time. Requires ability to lift, carry, deliver and serve from trays weighing up to 50 pounds throughout an eight hour shift; frequent lifting, carrying, walking and standing, hand/eye coordination. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequent hand/eye coordination with the ability to maintain a safe work area in an environment. Ability to balance serving tray on one hand while distributing orders to customers with the other. Ability to carry and set up folding table to support particularly heavy orders. Vision for reading and preparing documents; frequent speech communication, hearing and listening to maintain communications with employees and citizens. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration. The noise level in the work environment is frequently loud.

Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order. Maintain attention to ensure cleanliness and safety.2. Keep beer coolers and snack boxes stocked, clean and organized.3. Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age. Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.4. Use beverage cart to provide alcohol or non-alcohol beverages to golfers on the golf course.5. Attend to customers upon entrance to restaurant. Present menus and help customers select food/beverages. Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks, drinks and orders. 6. Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products. Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude. Involve the Restaurant Manager immediately as needed.7.
