The Electric Utility Division of the Public Works Department is now hiring for one (1) full-time career Administrative Assistant.
THE POSITION
The City of Moreno Valley is seeking an experienced and diligent Administrative Assistant to join the Electric Utility division. Under general supervision, the Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of complex and responsible office and administrative support tasks. This includes preparing technical documents and reports, managing communications, maintaining records and files, coordinating meetings and travel, and providing secretarial support to department managers and staff. The position requires initiative, sound judgment, and excellent communication skills to interact effectively with city staff, contractors, vendors, external agencies, and the public.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A typical way of obtaining the knowledge, skills and abilities outlined above is graduation from high school or G.E.D. equivalent; and three years of increasingly responsible administrative support or secretarial experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
