You must be alert throughout your shift to ensure patrons follow all safety rules and precautions and be able to handle confrontations. Must be able to verbally communicate with both public and staff effectively. Other duties as assigned. Shifts: Varies; including holidays, weekends, and evenings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in tracking pool attendance, balance cash drawer, and make daily deposits as directed
- Ensure proper operating condition of all equipment Respond immediately to medical emergencies or to save someone who needs help in the water
- Enforce the City of Morgan's Point Resort Swimming Pool rules and regulations to the swimmers and visitors to prevent accidents
- Maintain positive public relations at the swimming pool
- Record the facility's participation numbers and compile the necessary daily reports
- Maintain a clean facility including but not limited to bathrooms, trash picked up in and outside of facility Check the events calendar/folder daily for scheduled events
OTHER IMPORTANT DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Other duties as deemed necessary or as required
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED o Works under the guidance of the Pool Managers.
- Repons as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSAny combination ofeducation and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be;
Education/Certificate- American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR for Professional Rescuer, First Aide certification.
Experience- Previous Lifeguard experience a plus, but not required.
Minimum Age- 16 years oldKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Must have reliable transportation; will be responsible for all operational aspects, including safety and pool maintenance.
Keen attention to detail with the ability to thoroughly monitor numerous different areas at once.
Ability to react appropriately in stressful, high-pressure, and fast-paced emergency situations. Compassionate and service-oriented attitude with a passion for maintaining the safety of the facility.
