POSITION SUMMARY
Oversees and is responsible for light bookkeeping and inventory controls. Must follow and enforce all pool policies and rules at all times. Must be able to verbally communicate with both public and staff effectively. Knowledge of water chemistry and facilities management. Organize and manage special activities. Other duties as assigned. Assign shifts.
Shifts: Varies; including holidays, weekends, and evenings and is on call when off duty.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities:
· Supervise pool staff and ensure smooth operation of the facility
· Manage pool schedules, including swim lessons, events, and rentals
· Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the pool area
· Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
· Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy
· Prepare reports on pool usage, revenue, and maintenance activities

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED
· Works under the broad guidance of the City Manager.
· Reports as assigned.

Education/Certificate-AmericanRed Cross Lifeguard, CPR for Professional Rescuer, First Aide certification.
Experience- Three seasons of Lifeguard experience; must possess strong organizational, communication, public relations, and leadership skills.
Minimum Age- 18 years old
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Must have reliable transportation; will be responsible for all operational aspects, including safety and pool maintenance; schedule staff; supervise lifeguards and cashiers while on duty.
