Position : Parking Authority Customer Service Representative
Department : Morgantown Parking Authority
Employment Status : Permanent - Full Time - Non-Exempt
Schedule : Monday - Friday 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM
Compensation : Grade : 3 Step : 1 $18.11 / hour
Summary :
Works under the supervision of the Parking Authority Operations Manager and the Parking Authority Director. Customer Service Representative is responsible for handling an array of duties while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Job duties include receiving and processing inquires and complaints by phone and in person, maintaining electronic / physical records, including correspondence, preparation, and distribution of parking permits, and collecting payments.
Essential Duties :
- Possess knowledge of the city parking ordinances and convey them to the public.
- Assists the public at the counter and by phone to provide information about parking programs and parking codes, accept payment of fines, and set up payment plans.
- Address requests and complaints on the phone, in person, and by email in a courteous, professional manner.
- Balances cash drawer and prepare deposits.
- Schedule court dates and event parking.
- Maintain filing systems.
- Account invoicing.
- Process returned notices and research to find vehicle owner information.
- Process payments and updated account statuses.
- Sell and promote products and services.
- Greet and direct the general public entering the building.
- Perform other work-related duties and projects as assigned by the Parking Authority Director and Operations Manager.
