About the Position:
Kids' Camp offers children entering Transitional Kindergarten through 6th Grade a day camp experience with activities including science and nature, sports and cooperative games, creative expression and crafts, drama and music, special interests, group times, and much more. Weekly excursions will include visits to local parks and beaches, swimming at the pool at MBAC, and special adventures!
Hours/Scheduling:
Part-time, temporary positions working between 15-30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Positions begin on June 9th and run through August 8th, 2025, with a possible opportunity to work during the school year at the City's before & after-school program.
Pay Rates:
Counselor-In-Training (high school students that have completed 9th grade): $16.50 per hour.
Camp Counselors (must be a high school graduate or equivalent): $19.11 to $20.07 per hour, depending on experience.
Assistant Directors & Directors: $20.07 to $22.12 per hour, depending on experience.

Camp staff are responsible for, but are not limited to, supervising children, working cooperatively with staff and parents, ensuring proper maintenance, operation and safety of the site, assisting in preparing activities and excursions. This position is part-time temporary.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have knowledge of camp operations and age-appropriate activities. Previous employment in a day camp or childcare setting and Early Childhood Education preferred, especially for higher ranking positions.
