What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sport Coordinator (Summer) position at City of Moscow?
This position is for the summer months and has the opportunity to continue depending on the needs of the departmenat.
Sport Coordinators assist in the overall operation of programming and implementation of the recreation sports program. Primary responsibilities include the youth baseball/softball program, adult softball program, Youth Soccer, Flag Football, Youth Basketball and various other events, programs, and tournaments.

· The incumbent shall work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes competing deadlines.
· The incumbent shall at all times demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues, supervisors, and members of the public.
· Disseminate rules, policies, and other information to managers, coaches, players and parents.
· Recruit coaches and umpires.
· Assist with staff training.
· Assist with scheduling.
· Inventory, organize, and distribute equipment and hats.
· On-Site supervisor during contests.
· Assist with facility and game schedules.
· Nightly Supervision at softball fields.
· Hire, train, schedule and supervise scorekeepers.
· Develop program publicity.
· Distribute brochures
· Develop program reports.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
Schedule:
- After school
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
